Today we had 32 children swimming in the Lakeland Forum attempting some big metre badges. We are so proud of everyone who participated! The year 6 and 7 children swam over 28km between them!
The children were only allowed a 5 second break between each length and had to complete each length using either front crawl or breaststroke. All lengths were counted and verified by the school staff and the swimming instructors.
So a huge well done to everyone!
Over the next few weeks the children will be perfecting their technique and using front crawl.
