P5 thoroughly enjoyed their first day of Shared Education this morning. Our hosts today were St Paul’s PS Irvinestown. The sun shone while children worked in mixed schools groups to complete a variety of activities on the theme of trees in our area. Children now know how to calculate the age of a tree, how to identify native trees by their leaves and use Pic Collage to create beautiful tree pictures. A great start to our programme focusing on Outdoor Learning 🌳.
