We were delighted to welcome in our new Year 1 children to meet us all in their new classroom for the first time. The children visited in small groups with their parents and had the opportunity to do a craft activity, plant some seeds and borrow a library book to share at home. We have already had three visits to Nursery to see the children in a familiar setting so they can become familiar with their new teacher and classroom assistant. Next week we look forward to our new children coming in for a play session while all parents/carers are invited to the Hall to have an informative talk with Mrs McEldowney.
