Our new Year 1 children were just fantastic, all coming into big school and leaving their parents with a smile, for a fun play session. We built models, printed pictures, painted with feathers, coloured in, played in the ice-cream shop and with Bee-Bot in the classroom. Then we explored the wonderful resources in our outdoor area playing in the sand house, water, mud kitchen and with our selection of construction materials. Parents and carers had an informative talk with Mrs McEldowney. All children went home with a ‘Craft’ bag to make a crafty masterpiece over the summer holidays to bring into School when they start Year 1. Our new Year 1 children are going to be amazing! 🤩
