As part of our topic the children in Year 3/4 organised a party for the boys and girls in Year 7. During our ICT lesson we made creative, colourful invitations and our art lessons involved making fantastic decorations. The children were given a budget and price list and had to go ‘shopping’ in our maths lessons. They had to consider the best items to buy and explain why. They decided it was more economical to make our buns and they throughly enjoyed melting chocolate to make top hats and rice krispie buns. Finally they had to plan the entertainment; they organised party games such as pass the parcel, team games using balloons and a disco. I hope you enjoy our photos.
