Year 7 have enjoyed 4 weeks of shared lessons with St Pauls and Irvinestown Primary Schools. They have covered a lot of activities during their outdoor lessons which have included-
- The Greenhouse Effect Experiment
- Climate Change Dodgeball
- Using media to represent different types of weather
- Learning walk which included the Famine Graveyard, Lowtherstown Workhouse and Centenary Garden
- PE - games through the years and rainforest games
- Art - sketching the workhouse, rainforest artwork and Spring pictures
- Making waterproof shelters
- Scavenger hunts and bird watching
- Relaxing Spring yoga
They are looking forward to one more shared lesson followed by a joint trip.
